A Project under the Cornwall Youth Committee and Cornwall Recreation Department

Volunteer with us!

We need weekly volunteers to work our table at the farmers market and to turn our compost pile at Donahue Farm. Our sign up sheet is here.

Want to host a garden/nature/conservation-themed storytime or learning session at our farmers market tent, we’d love to have you. Do you have a school group or scout troop who would like a learning session in gardening and composting? We’d love to hear from you. Reach out to us at: [email protected]

CURRENT PROJECTS:

Community Composting

We are composting year round at Donahue Farm!

Located at 42 Bayview Ave. Cornwall-on-Hudson. Drive up the left driveway. Food scrap collection is the first door on the left (the old potting shed). 5-gallon collection bins are right inside the door. Follow instructions posted on the shed wall for signing in. Please read GUIDELINES are below, and PLEASE NO COMPOSTABLE PLASTICS OF ANY KIND. They contaminate garden grade compost.

Calling all COMPOST CAPTAINS! As of Fall 2024, we are starting a compost captain program! Read the infographic below for more information…

Garden with us at Donahue Farm!

Our garden is currently sleeping and we eagerly await the sprouting of our garlic in the spring! Check back in April for garden play days at the beautiful Donahue Farm Community Garden.

The Donahue Farm Community Garden is located at 42 Bayview Ave, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY 12520. Turn right at the sign for the Esty & Hellie Stowell Trailhead. Then turn left at the barn, ignoring the private property sign. Parking is on the left and we’ll be in the community gardens!

No RSVP needed, but we’d love to know you’re coming! You can email us at: [email protected]
